24 Hours on the Lighthouse at the End of the World is a series of 17 Kafkaiesque short stories staring Karl SHOK, a local artist from La Rochelle. He embarks on a special program to spend 24 hours as a lighthouse keeper along with other 100 candidates. Their only contribution is to create an artistic piece of work inspired by their stay. However, Karl discovers that the Lighthouse has many surprises in store.

CAPTAIN B.EGO AND FIRST OFFICER MOO
Dear airmen, friends and followers,
My upcoming project CAPTAIN B. EGO & FIRST OFFICER MOO is a story about a funny mechanical flying machine carrying airmail throughout the world. The Captain is called Bob EGO, his ego is so big that the Ego plane requires a massive 28 wheel truck to be able to absorb the shock upon landing. Seated next to him, his faithful companion and fellow First Officer MOO, a very humble, smart, one-eyed cat. Together they travel around the world and, in cruise, they share pilot stories, your stories.
So, whoever you are in the world and whatever you fly, from a recreational ultra-light machine to an Antonov 225 or anything in between, I would love to hear from you and your amazing stories!
Your stories will be introduced by Captain EGO and FO MOO on my website along with your name and rank (or anonymously if you wish). Once the number of stories are enough, a selected few will be published in hardback and the respective authors will be rewarded with a surprise.
So without further ado, grab a pen, a keyboard or your phone and start writing!
The guidelines are simple:
- Aviation related topics
- The story has to be true, genuine and interesting, either challenging, spooky or funny
- Text Format: Word, Pages or via email
- Sketches: Jpg or Pdf.
You may submit illustrations, drawings or a combination of texts and drawings if you are up for it! - Written in English
- Number of words : up to you.
